Brittany Harris

Brittany Harris

Brittany is a graduate of the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine, as well as Naturopathic Medicine. Passionate about research and furthering her knowledge about pure/classical homeopathy, she has received an Excellence in Homeopathy award through Boiron and has published in Homeopathy Today and URNST. In both her homeopathic and naturopathic practical training, she found that she resonated more with homeopathy and chose to focus exclusively in homeopathy.  Homeopathy is a system of medicine that uses the principle “like cures like”. To do this, homeopaths match what discomforts you are experiencing to what medicine is known to improve those discomforts. The medicines used are gentle, but work quickly and thoroughly.

Registered Massage Therapist

Mickailynn Drimmie Merkus was born and raised in Elora and graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Humber College in 2016. She was awarded the Student Massage Therapy Research Award for exploring the effects of massage therapy and Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome. She worked as a research assistant alongside the program coordinator during her final year.

Mickailynn works with many patients experiencing repetitive strain injuries, Piriformis Pain Syndrome causing sciatic and lower back & hip discomfort, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome of the knees, and Wry Neck (neck spasms). Therefore, deep tissue techniques are a focus for her when indicated. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge in whole-body wellness and strives to be an on-going learner. Mickailynn’s next phase of learning is exploring bamboo fusion techniques, cranial-sacral massage. You will often find her saying “Be good to your body”. So when she’s not working, you can find her on-the-go being active in order to keep up with her patient’s needs.

Fun fact: Her great grandfather used to own the Elora Mill back when it was still a feed mill. Previously, there was a designated room “the Drimmie room” in honour of the family name.
