Intro​ to Kundalini 

Join Kasi Kord for 4

(1 hour) sessions of ancient teachings for right now. Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, invites us to explore and honor our own experience. 

Through movement, music, meditation and breath work we work through our stuff, connect to our life force. realize our purpose however big or small, and cultivate inner peace, understanding and community.

Kasis's vision is that through these teachings we come together and create an inclusive, non competitive environment and community in which to connect more deeply within, in order to serve ourselves and each other.

Stress: Useful ways to manage it!

September is often a hectic and stressful time. Join Rachel MacKay, a culinary nutritionist, holistic chef and yoga instructor, for this fun and interactive 2 hour workshop. We’ll discuss the damaging effects of stress and how we can combat them using nourishing food and yoga techniques. The session will include a food demonstration with recipes, yoga poses and breath work.

Chakra Flow Series

In a world where everything seems to be just a click away, we tend to look outward to answer life’s questions and to “fix” ourselves, forgetting to look within to the wisdom and energy already present within our bodies. The Chakras act as a roadmap for this energy and wisdom.  

Join Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master Greg Pember as he guides you through a three-part Chakra Flow Series to help stimulate the energy centers within your body, exploring asana practice, movement, breath work, mantra and meditation. You'll feel more empowered and connected to body, mind, energy and your greatest power of all: your Presence.

Week 1: Root and Sacral Chakra

Week 2: Solar Plexus and Heart Chakra

Week 2: Throat, Third Eye & Crown Chakra

Feel free to come to one practice or all three! Open to all levels.

Intro to Yoga

Learn the basics of yoga with Rachel in a 1 hour class running for 4 weeks. Begin your personal journey in a safe and welcoming environment. You will be guided through postures, breathwork, energetic cues and mindfulness to step out of the mind and into the body. You will be equipped with tools to integrate into your everyday life. Mats are provided!

Gluten Free Cooking

Join Rachel MacKay, a culinary nutritionist and holistic chef, in the Soulwork kitchen for a fun and informative gluten-free cooking class. We’ll discuss gluten-free alternatives, how to substitute and recipe ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and of course, dessert! The session will include a cooking demonstration and lots of delicious snacks to sample.

The Eye is the Window to your Soul. The Iris is the Mirror to your Body

Your iris can share information about the health of your body. Great for preventative measures or discovering the root causes of an issue. Then learn how your yoga practice can support the various systems in your body. Come prepared to have a yoga practice. Ideal for all levels.
